Save the date for this conversation: During our meeting on Wednesday, July 22nd at 3PM, we are turning our attention to “La littérature française du 21e siècle,” that is to “French literature of the 21st century.”

Each participant will talk briefly about a French language writer of our current century, and there is a wide geographic range to choose from: Starting in Africa, to several French speaking European countries (including the Aosta valley in Northern Italy), all the way to Québec, French Guyana, Guadeloupe, Tahiti, La Réunion, the Society Islands, etc. If in doubt, look up the reign of “Le Roi Soleil.” As always, all skill levels are welcome, but speaking French is the name of the game, and we all help each other out, when someone is looking for a word or a specialized term. Beginners and intermediate speakers are most welcome to prepare a short paragraph and read it, so that we can all benefit from their contribution.
