UWC’s 90th Anniversary Year
The First 2025 Luncheon in March with Guest Speaker The Honorable Kirsty Hayes, UK Ambassador to Argentina. She presented “The 200th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship, Commerce, and Navigation between the UK and Argentina.”

The 90th Anniversary Gala Celebration in May
UWC enjoyed special performances by Soprano Ana Sampedro, Tenor Fermín Prieto, and Pianist Pablo Manzanelli. They performed six songs including the ‘Nessun Dorma’ aria from “Turandot” by Giacomo Puccini and the ‘Libiamo’ toast from Giuseppe Verdi’s “La Traviata.” For the toast, the singers mingled with the guests to clink champagne glasses and celebrate the occasion.
